Rotary Henley on Todd Regatta
The Rotary Henley on Todd Regatta is a fun, quirky and eclectic ‘boat’ race held annually on the dry sandy bed of the Todd River in Alice Springs, Australia - the only dry river boating Regatta in the world. Festival attendees compete in ‘boat’ races in the style of the Flintstones: holding a metal frame and running for the finish line. The finale of the day is a battle of three motorised battleships with flour bombs and water cannons.
Event attendees are encouraged to join in and participate in a wide variety of events on offer during the Regatta. Events range from solo event, thru to teams of ten.
